Howdy!

Or if you are more formal, greetings and salutations. Welcome to my little shop in the mountains.

I am grateful you are here. Please pull up a seat close to the fire and let me grab you a beverage. Or maybe you prefer to sit where you can see the big block of ice that is the Matanuska Glacier. Imagine the smell of leather and if we are fortunate, there may be a pie in the oven or fresh cookies coming out of the kitchen.

I am Rodney and I work with leather. I have always preferred to work with my hands, making and building things. I have enjoyed leather craft as a hobby for a number of years. With experience I developed my own style and pattern of making holsters. I also make other things, some with an Alaskan flair, and others that are just practical.

Oh, I reckon I was drawn to making holsters, because of my former life. I have owned, used or tried all sorts of holsters over the last 35 years. Many were not very practical or comfortable. I would like to make you a holster that works for you and is visually appealing and that is as comfortable as a holster can be. I tend to make very stiff holsters as they hold your handgun snugly until needed.
