We are a small business nestled into the end of the Talkeetna Range, overlooking the Matanuska Glacier and the Chugach Range. I mostly build small, one off goods, but do make some items on a larger scale. These items are available for sale elsewhere.
I became involved in leatherwork when one of our sons took it up while he was in high school. I have enjoyed it as a hobby ever since. I see myself as primarily a holstersmith. I have carried professionally, both openly and concealed for most of my life. I am retired from that life now and I am proud of my LEO background. I was a Firearms instructor, and a Senior Firearms Instructor for that State Police Agency. It is with this background that I have approached my craft. I found that I would buy multiple holsters for a single handgun before I found one that I liked. I hope that if we work together you can get the holster you want, one that is not only attractive but becomes as comfortable to wear as your favorite jeans.
I am still working on improving my craft. I believe I learn something new every time I sit down at my bench. That has involved finding better quality tools, and purchasing some of the best quality leathers that I can find. I primarily use Herman Oak leather which is a vegetable tanned leather made right here in the U.S.A. If you choose to work with me, I will build you a high quality holster to fit your particular firearm.
